Flour City Bake Co. was founded officially in 2024 in Honolulu, HI, but we’ve been serving up fresh desserts since 2020.
Originally from upstate NY, the name, ‘Flour City’ is actually a direct nod to our hometown of Rochester, NY, formally known as the “Flour City.” By 1938, Rochester, NY became the largest flour producing city in the country who produced such high quality flour that the Queen of England herself -Queen Victoria- had become a frequent client. Shortly after in 1859, Rochester had taken on a new name, the “Flower City” and is still known as the “Flower City” to this day.
